Loving You is a bluesy jam track, recorded in free time at Studio A Recording in Kitchener, Ontario, with Nate Van Beilen on guitar, and Karl Anderson on drums. The bass line was later added by Daniel Tsourounis who also mixed the track.
The storyline for the music video was developed by Keegan and the director of photography, Michael Malko, and it explores the perspective of a woman engaged to a man who's been cheating on her. After what could be months or years of choosing to look the other way, convincing herself that it was just a phase, or simply excusing the behaviour all together, she finally decides that she deserves better. Her anger and frustration comes not from his infidelity but rather from her inability to stand up for herself for so many years; from prioritizing his needs over hers. Sometimes it's easier to look the other way than to make a change. This glimpse into what happens when you reach your breaking point is a story of self love; of doing the hard thing because it's the right thing for you, and finding peace and comfort in knowing, without a doubt, that this was the right decision.
lyrics
I don't know why you've been cheating on me
'Cause I've been loving you, loving you, loving you
All day through
So faithful, loving you, loving you, loving you
That's what I do
I, I never would've done it
Never would've done it
Never would've done it to you
I never would've done it
Never would've done it
Never would've done it to you
I never would've done it
Never would've done it to you
No, no, no, no
I don't know why you've been lying to me
'Cause I've been loving you, loving you, loving you
Honest it's true
So faithful loving you, loving you, loving you
'Til my face blue
I never would've done it
Never would've done it to you
Never would've done it to you
I don't know why you've been lying to me
'Cause I've been loving you, loving you, loving you
Honest it's true
Everyday loving you, loving you, loving you
'Til my face blue
I don't know why you've been cheating on me
'Cause I've been loving you, loving you, loving you
All day through
So faithful loving you, loving you, loving you
That's what I do
I never would've done it
Never would've, never would've, never would've
Never would've, never would've, never would've
Never would've, never would've done it, never would've done it
Never would've done it
Never would've done it to you
I, I never would've done it
Never would've done it, never would've done it
Never would've done it, never would've done it
Never would've done it, never would've done it
Never would've done it to you
Never would've done it to you

Growing up, Keegan’s head may have been up in the clouds, affectionately nicknamed the absent-minded professor by her family
and friends, but she always had both feet planted firmly on the ground. It just so happened that one was stuck on an old country road, and the other on a city sidewalk. It’s no surprise her sound is equally as enigmatic....more
