I don't know about you but for some reason, when I hear the word consent, a sense of formality mixed with timidness consumes me. Naysayers will even go so far as to say the concept of consent and the aftermath of the me too movement has done away with the spontaneity of romance all together. But I'm here to say that's simply not the case. In fact, I'd go so far as to say the opposite - which is what inspired this song.
Enthusiastic consent makes everything more enjoyable for everybody as far as I'm concerned, and I wanted to write a song that proved it - an anthem, if you will. If you agree with the message, let me know in the comments below! And if you don't - you should probably listen again from the beginning ;)

lyrics
I'm gonna tease you for as long as I like
'Cause I wanna hear you beg for more
If you ask me nicely
I might let you have it
Is this what you've been waiting for
[CHORUS]
Oh, what I wouldn't do
Oh, just to wake up next to you
Oh, what I wouldn't pay
Oh, just to have you for one day
Just tell me you're mine for the taking
You'll be a good girl and do what I say
I can see that you want it
Girl can you take it
I wanna hear you scream my name
If you ask me nicely
I might let you have it
Is this what you've been waiting for
[CHORUS]
No I never want to disrespect you
But I gotta have you my own way
So tell me your safe word
And take off your panties
Girl I'm gonna take you all the way
If you ask me nicely
I might let you have it
Is this what you've been waiting for
[CHORUS]
Ahh...
I'm gonna tease you for as long as I like
'Cause I wanna hear you beg for more
If you ask me nicely
I might let you have it
Is this what you've been waiting for
[CHORUS] X2

Growing up, Keegan’s head may have been up in the clouds, affectionately nicknamed the absent-minded professor by her family
and friends, but she always had both feet planted firmly on the ground. It just so happened that one was stuck on an old country road, and the other on a city sidewalk. It’s no surprise her sound is equally as enigmatic....more
